Lenovo’s new LePad Tablet – Release dates

Lenovo is all set to release its ‘LePad Tablet’. it was initially unveiled during the Consumer Electronics Show held in the month of January, though the prior version was being announced earlier in the last year. The gadget is not anticipated to be released in the month of March in 2011 in China and worldwide in June.

The specifications and exact price for this tablet by Lenovo is unknown; however, this tablet is running on Android OS which is an operating system supported by Google. Nevertheless, last time when the specs were disclosed the gadget was having a  10.1 inch display,  1280 x 800 resolution, Snapdragon’s 1.3 GHz processor and Android 2.2 Operating System with an anticipated price of $ 500.

Now, everyone is wondering if it is going to have its customized ‘LeOS’ skin or is it going to be Honeycomb?

Apple Vs Google – A latest episode of the battle

Apple and Google both are known as the best innovators in personal technology and the competition going between them is not just fiercest but also healthiest and consumer centric. They both have introduced so many good products as Harry McCracken of PC world said that it is most healthiest consumer oriented rivalry in the entire history of personal technology.

But the basis of this competition which is defining it is only between Iphone and Android. Both the companies are putting some great minds and resources in order to give the consumers better products.  See Iphone who has developed the most reliable operating system with great number of applications. On the other hand, Google with its most technically sound operating system with every thing open sourced. Three days ago, Google launched its latest HTC EVO 4G with some really power packed features which surely is the best smart phone available now. With two cameras, 8MP for photos and 1.3 MP for webcam is available on smartphone. New Android comes with LEAP feature which is a multitasking manager. Above all the most killing feature is 4G from which you can get higher speed downloads. The cellphone is currently available for 200$ with Sprint plan. The biggest drawback which Sprint will overcome is the unavailability of 4G everywhere so in most of the cities the users still have to rely on 3G networks.

With this smartphone, Android seems to be the winner of the battle in this episode. Iphone is also working on its latest 4G and its going to roll out soon. Lets see what Apple has to offer us now

Android Users! Flash support is coming

We still don’t know when Android 2.2 is going to release but Google has officially announced that Android 2.2 is going to have the full Flash support in this version. According to ZDnet, the latest version is hitting the streets on May 19th but this hasn’t been confirmed by Google. Some other features which are expected in Android 2.2 are its JIT compiler, also all the apps will be updated automatically, FM radio and support for colored lights on handset’s trackball. On the other hand, Flash announced Flash version for smartphones last year but right now they are working on the optimized version of Flash which will be releasing shortly.

On the other hand, Apple continued to take stance that they don’t require any Flash support in Iphone, Ipad or other Apple devices. The story doesn’t end here as Apple has banned their developers from using Adobe CS development tools.
