This is certainly getting stranger with every passing day!

In the beginning, Apple monitored and kept such files that recorded users’ movements for more than a year. Later when these secret files were un-earthed by Alasdair Allan and Peter Warden, Apple panicked and started denying that no such data was been kept. When people did not believe them and preferred to switch, they started giving all kinds of flimsy rationales and excuses that did not even make sense. Now that the iPhone and iPad users have articulated their anxiety and distress about this ‘big brother is watching’ and ‘Conspiracy theories’; Apple is now restoring to some stern damage control.

Recently, Apple has released an update related to this stating that it will fix the ‘Bug’ in the application that enables it to track the location of the users. It will also allow the users to disable their location data that is being transmitted by their gadgets by making use of this particular update.

Wasn’t it that such a thing didn’t even exist!! ??
